TENUTA DI COLLALBRIGO
Tenuta di Collalbrigo is located in the heart of the DOCG Prosecco Hills between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene.
COLLALBRIGO, ITALY
Centuries of History Looking at the Future
“Collalbrigo” is a small, old village, which sits on top of the Hill of Collalbrigo. Winemaking has been present in this area since 1276, and in July 2019, the DOCG area of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene were given the status of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The owners of Tenuta di Collalbrigo are the Cosulich family – which has been in the winemaking business for four generations, and in the shipping business for over 500 years. The first shipping business documents associated with the Cosulich family are dated back to 1480. By 1859, their family had created a fleet of more than 20 ships, harboring in Venice & Trieste to run the business from larger hubs. By 1915, the family business expanded globally and the Cosulich Group became one of the largest operators in the shipping and shipbuilding business. By 1935, their fleet and shipyard were nationalized by the Italian government, forcing the Cosulich family to branch out beyond shipping & shipbuilding.
In 1935, The Cosulich Family acquired properties and land in Collalbrigo as a vacation estate. They began producing their own house wines. By 1967, Alberto Cosulich enlarged the winery and built the cellar, launching their business in winemaking. By 1984, Alberto’s son, Francesco, took over the estate, bringing the winery to today’s dimensions and establishing Collalbrigo’s wines internationally. By 2018, Francesco’s sons started managing the estate, expanding its reach and becoming the fourth generation of family members to become wine producers in Collalbrigo.
Tenuta di Collalbrigo has been on the radar of all major wine magazines, columnists, and critics, having received recognition from Veronelli, Gambero Rosso, 2000 Vini, Robert Parker, Wine Spectator, James Suckling, Decanter, and more. Collalbrigo’s bottle designs have also received multiple awards, most recently in 2019 when their Prosecco Superiore label was awarded “The Open Art Award for Best Label”.
All of Tenuta di Collalbrigo’s wine can be considered vegan-friendly (although they are not certified). They do not use any protein-based products at any stage of the winemaking process.

This pale-yellow wine is a fabulously surprising Pinot Grigio. It has an understated nose that positively bursts on the palate with both tropical and citrus fruits and hints of pear drops. This, combined with a great body and softness, makes the wine versatile with or without food.

Light straw yellow with greenish reflections, there could also be some copper nuances as well. Fruity, delicate and complex on the nose. On the palate it is sapid, dry with good structure.

This Dry Sparkling wine is made from our best grapes. It is light straw yellow colored and it has a light froth and a fine and persistent perlage. Its flower and fruit notes recall the golden apple, the banana and the wisteria.
