International Wine Report: “The 2016 Chateau Rigaud Faugeres offers aromas of black cherries and raspberries laced with lavender, wet stones, licorice and hints of exotic spices. The palate is medium-bodied, round and plush, with flavors of dark berries, chocolate and spices which expand seamlessly across the palate. It remains beautifully balanced, underlined with a gorgeous streak of acidity leading up to the long, juicy finish.”

Jeb Dunnuck: “Another terrific value from this estate is the 2016 Faugeres, which is 50% Syrah and the rest Grenache and Cinsault. Complex, medium-bodied, and incredibly floral, it has lots of leather, dried soil, and sweet red fruits on the nose. I’d be thrilled to drink a glass any time over t he coming 3-4 years.”
