Winemaker’s Notes: The red ruby color 2017 Crown Prince shows a very complex nose of white pepper and earth notes playing along with ripe blackberry scents. On the palate, blackberry flavors return, enveloped by supple and plush tannins. The intense flavor profile continues into a long finish of soft tannins and red fruit, perfectly balanced with Cabernet spices.

International Wine Report: “The 2017 Crown Prince Cabernet Sauvignon begins with inviting aromas of ripe dark currants, plums and cassis, that come together with cigar box, peppery spices, dark chocolate and earth mineral nuances. On the palate this possesses a medium-plus to full body that is well-balanced with a wonderful supple mouthfeel that gives way to dark fruits and spices that cascade onto the long finish. This is incredibly expressive and delicious today, however this should continue to drink nicely over the next decade.”
