Thea

Pays d’Oc Pinot Noir

Wine Type: Red Wine

Country: France

Region: Pays d’Oc

Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes: Thea Pinot Noir hails from the limestone soils of Southern France, but its concentrations is reminiscent of the great California producers. The wine is made using the Burgundian method in order to carefully preserve the aromas and flavors of the Pinot, while aged 3 months in French oak barrels. The tannins are soft and well-integrated on the palate, and the red-berry flavors blend with touches of tobacco and toasted almond.

Food Pairings: Pair with brie cheese, grilled tuna steak, and grilled meats.

International Wine Report: “The 2021 Thea Pinot Noir beings with aromas of raspberries and strawberries woven together with dried spices, licorice and floral nuances. On the palate this is nicely structured with silky tannins. The sleek texture finishes with red berries, plums and spice flavors. This is already showing well and should drink nicely for another year or two.”
