Ardal

Roble Ribera del Duero Tradición

Wine Type: Red Wine

Country: Spain

Region: Ribera del Duero

Grapes: 80% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Tasting Notes: Purple red with violet notes, bright in the glass. On the nose it has intense aromas of red fruits such as currants and cherries. Its passage through the barrel gives it a complexity that perfectly combines the fruity aromas with spices. In the mouth it is pleasant with fruity and sweet tannins and a long finish. Round, balanced, and persistent.

Aging: 6 months in American oak barrels.

Terroir: Ardal’s vineyards are located in Hoyales de Roa, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, in the Diamante de Oro, where there is a unique combination of climate and soils. At Ardal we are proud to have 95 hectares of our own strictly dry-farmed vineyards with low yields that ensure a quality above the average available in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.”

Wine Enthusiast: “Fragrant purple flowers waft out of the glass and are complemented by alluring black fruits. A hint of green pepperiness coming from the Cabernet Sauvignon nicely complements the overall effect, ensuring a thoughtful balance. Even though this is not a complicated wine, every aspect is polished and precise. Fruit lovers unite!”
