Domaine Chene Pere et Fils
Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Wine Type: Red Wine
Country: France
Region: Bourgogne
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes: Beautiful bright cherry red color. The nose releases a bouquet of red and black fruits and floral notes. The palate has a good, rich and round structure. An expressive and harmonious wine.
Winemaking: Once in the cellar the grapes are destemmed before being transferred to tanks, then cold pre-fermentation maceration then natural pumping over under the action of the CO2 released by the alcoholic fermentation of the wine. Fermentation time between 15 to 20 days to extract the color.
Food Pairings: Perfectly paired with meat pies or casseroles, poultry or red meat dishes, game dishes, or cheeses.
International Wine Report: “The 2022 Bourgogne Pinot Noir delivers pretty aromas of red berries woven together with spices, dried florals, pepper and touches of wet stones. On the palate this offers a light/medium body that is supported by silky tannins. It possesses wonderful balance with nice underlying acidity framing the flavors of red fruits and spice notes that continue through the finish.”
