Winemaking: Picked overnight and pressed immediately upon arrival into stainless steel for fermentation. Fermented cool with native yeast to preserve all of the delicate aromatics.

Brand Story: “The team of mountain man Joseph Walker and businessman Joseph Ballinger Chiles were responsible for bringing the first American emigrants into Alta California, forging the 2000-mile California Trail from St. Louis, Missouri and crossing the Sierra Nevada Mountains ultimately landing and into present day Napa Valley. Walker & Chiles Cabernet Sauvignon is our tribute to these pioneers of the west who without them perhaps there would be a totally different story.”
