Bonaventura Maschio

Vermut Bonaventura

Item Type: Spirit

Country: Italy

18.0% ABV (36 Proof)

Tasting Notes: Deep amber color. Harmonious and highly complex nose, rich in nuances that evolve from fresh, citrus notes that emerge from the rich, smooth base of the wine, enriched with sweet notes of vanilla, candied fruit, dried figs, raisins, dates, cherry, chamomile, and elderflower, finishing with Mediterranean herbs and spicy notes of mace and cinchona calisaya. On the palate it is full and enveloping, rich, with great structure and complexity, harmonious, elegant, and refined, finishing with a long-lasting bitterness.

About The Producer: Bonaventura Maschio is a family distillery with over a century of history across five generations. From great grandfather Antonio to the present Sole Director Italo, along with his son Andrea and daughter Anna, they continue the company’s tradition. It is a business that has always sought and found in hard work, study and research, and strict quality control, the true expression of essential and authentic values.

With the Maschio family, whole generations of viticulturists, distillers, and oenologists grew up and were educated. Every individual shares his own experience, driving quality and innovation.

About the Product: For Vermouth Bonaventura, we started with our region’s most iconic grape, Glera, with its distinctive fruity notes, enriched by overripe sensations from the drying process. To these, we added balsamic absinthe, exotic mace and coriander, aromas of marjoram, chamomile, sweet orange, and elderberry, finishing with the intensely bitter notes of clary sage and cinchona calisaya.
