Terre Rubine

Langhe Nebbiolo DOC

Wine Type: Red Wine

Country: Italy

Region: Piedmont

Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo

Tasting Notes: Red garnet color with orange nuances which become more accentuated as years go by; delicate, etheric, intense, wide and persistent; flavor warm, full, complex, dry and harmonious. Its austerity is linked to the presence of sweet and complex tannins.

Aging: Vinification in stainless steel temperature-controlled vats. Aged in stainless steel vats for 6 months, followed by 9 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Food Pairings: Excellent with rice dishes, soups, pasta, braised meat or game dishes, or aged cheeses.

Notes from the Winery: The Nebbiolo is grown on sunlight-filled vineyards and steep areas of the Langhe region, to the right of the Tanaro River. This region gives us generously flavorful and fruity wines. To loose sandy soil, rich of salt minerals, prodices wines with an abundant wealth of aromas and flavors.”

James Suckling: “This ripe and attractive Nebbiolo has aromas of orange peel, strawberries, nutmeg and chocolate. It’s creamy and medium-to full-bodied with fine powdery tannins. Delicious now.”
